A Hatha yoga class aimed for those who feel uncomfortable in 'the standard' yoga class. Here you can dive into yoga in a safe, non-judgment environment. It is gentle pacing, using props and modifications to help increase joint health, flexibility and strength. Class finishes with a short relaxation or meditation.
For new students or those wanting refine the foundations of the poses / movements and breathing techniques. Yoga isn’t just about being flexible and bendy. We build strength, stamina, balance, range of motion, mobility, and we will learn how to breath more efficiently allowing for prana, (life force energy) to vitalize our being. Moving the body is so important, and yoga not only increases body tone, muscle strength and flexibility, it also improves energy levels, respiration, and vitality. Suitable for all.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
A vigorous, sweat-producing style of yoga. It begins with sun salutes warming up the inner fire, and finishing with holding poses that increase with difficulty. There are easier or more complex versions of most of the movements, so if you're ready for a challenge, come and have a go. Some knowledge of yoga beneficial. If unsure, please ask.
Wild Fire Fit & Relaxation
Working on stamina, strength, flexibility and endurance, this class will help get you out of your head and into your body. These classes are generally for teenagers and young adults. It will tone and sculpt the body. It will challenge you at every level. It will also be fun and a place to meet others.
Power up your spirit and fire up your mind. Finishes with relaxation, meditation or breath work.
Movement linked with the breath. Asanas (poses) are strung together to make a sequence that flows with the breath. Imagine yoga as a dance. This is vinyasa. Each class includes variations of Sun Salutations. Basic knowledge of yoga poses will help with following the sequencing, but everyone is welcome. A strong and often fast paced class.
Healthy Aging Yoga
A relaxed and friendly atmosphere with emphasis on simple stretching, balancing and building strength. Props are used to help the body with alignment, flexibility and gain a greater range of mobility. The classes are modified to suit every individual.
Chairs are used instead of floor work.
A friendly and relaxing meditation class where different styles of meditation will be explored each week. Bring a cushion if you prefer to sit during the session, otherwise bring a mat or blanket to lay on. Enjoy a herbal tea and discussion afterwards. Some meditations explored are: Drumming, guided visualisations, chakras, candle gazing, mindfulness exercises and more.
Over 6 weeks you will learn different meditation styles and techniques. Weekly discussions and a daily meditation journal will help guide you into establishing a regular practice.
Primary School students.
A fun, supportive, creative and nurturing class atmosphere providing the opportunity to make meaningful connections to one's self and others in a non-judgmental and non-competitive way. Kids Relax helps bring a sense of calmness, helps with concentration, body awareness, strength, flexibility and co-ordination.

High School students.
Many students struggle with demands of life, including school work, relationships and social media allowing their body to be in a constant state of fight-or-flight.
Meditation and other techniques will be taught, to help teach the student how to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, teaching them how to relax. Some benefits will be increased memory and concentration, improved sense of self-worth and confidence, feelings of calmness and inner peace.
Learn to draw and paint for children aged 8 - 14years.
Each week new techniques will be introduced building on the previous lesson.
Therefor booking 6 week course beneficial, although if space permits, booking as drop in sessions allowed.
Teaching yoga poses to children in a fun and mindful way so they can learn how to be aware of their bodies. Mindful moving, breathing, relaxation and silliness included.
