The first Guided Meditation of Spring!

This weeks meditation on Tuesday 1st September at 7pm will be facilitated by the lovely Ruth Maittlen who has a background as a health care professional. She first became interested in utilising meditation techniques as a means of stress management more than 30 years ago. Having explored many different methodologies, Ruth’s current practice predominantly uses guided visualisations, to actively direct the the mind towards a place of deep relaxation. Within this relaxed state there is the opportunity to shed the worries and stressors of our daily lives. Through regular practice we can begin to have insight into how longterm poorly managed stress can manifest in our lives, adversely impacting our physical and mental health. Through supported, mindful and nurturing relaxation techniques, you can safely develop the tools you need to navigate your way through the ups and downs of life.
