Quentin is the proud Aboriginal, Torres Strait, and South Sea Islander founder of Wild Yam Talent, with strong connections to Koinjmal, Durambul, and Boigu Island. Born on Mamu Country and raised on the lands of the Jagera and Turrbal Peoples, Quentin brings deep cultural insight and community connection to his work.
With 26 years of service as a sworn Police Officer for the Queensland Police Service, he has since led impactful roles as the First Nations Engagement Officer for the Electoral Commission and the First Nations Justice Office.
Quentin’s journey across Queensland has allowed him to live, work, and build meaningful relationships with diverse First Nations communities, connecting him to a rich network of talented people from all walks of life.
